Learning by doing is one of the simplest way for getting started with a new tool. However for getting started, people often read only success stories related to their tools and have no idea of all the failures the others went through.

In this talk we will first discuss why Gitlab was our first choice, then dive our audience in all the things we have made and tried with Gitlab that didn't work, and provide information on why all those things didn't work and how we solved them. We will also reflect on an idea of creating a Gitlab community where people and organizations share their gitlab adoption journeys, their challenge and how to creatively solved them.
